15May08

Adap.TVIf you have a large amount of embedded video players and want to unlock their full potential to generate revenue then they need to be positioned in as flexible a platform as possible so that when any network wants to run an adverts across an inventory of videos then no extensive modification required to the embed code throughout the content providers network of sites.

Adap.tv OneSource leverages the collective wisdom of all advertising sources, including all major ad networks, for the benefit of its customers and provides them with a simple and seamless experience to get the most out of their online video inventory.”

Amir Ashkenazi, chief executive officer and co-founder of Adap.tv

I have encountered problems when wanting to implement new advertising platforms/formats but them being in a situation where additional development and man hours altering hard coded video players is required.

Adap.tv’s Universal Online Video Advertising Platform looks to be a development which could solve the problems associated with different ad networks and media buyers preferring different advert formats. It will be interesting to see the take up of their offering as it sounds really good

Here is an interesting little interview with Sean Behr, Vice President, Sales at adap.tv.
